About the event
- Join Kerith Brook Board Members Roger Reece, Brian Spahr, Doug Martin, and Volunteer Dave Hablitzel as they grill up some great eats, conversation and lead us through a Lantern Launch when the sky darkens.
- What is a lantern launch? Each guest is given a biodegradable lantern and a marker to write a message to our deceased loved one on a paper lantern. The lantern is lit and released into the night sky in a powerfully private and yet shared moment. The launch is an example of how rituals and symbolic gestures can provide us comfort in our grief.
